The Pitch Room — Vol. VI, 2025

A deal-room, curated like a sales agent's catalog.

Post your project in development. Open it to a vetted room of producers, sales agents, and acquirers who have already optioned 312 indie titles through I AM EIGA. The $41M raised since launch started in rooms that look exactly like this one.

  • 312deals in 2024

How the room works

Four chapters from posted project to signed deal.

A listing moves through a deliberate, paper-trail lifecycle. Every step is reviewed by a member of our acquisitions desk — none of it is automated, and none of it is anonymous.

  1. 01

    Post the project.

Verified Member Filmmakers upload a one-page pitch, a lookbook, a draft budget, and the rights chain. The forms follow a sales-agent standard — not a crowdfunding form.

  2. 02

    Diligence by the desk.

A member of our acquisitions team (9 former Sundance, TIFF, and Cannes programmers on staff) reviews the submission within five business days and requests what is missing.

  3. 03

    Open the room.

Once cleared, the listing goes live to the Pitch Room and is routed by stage — development, production, post, or sales — to the producers, funds, and sales agents who have asked for that signal.

  4. 04

    Close and carry through.

Meetings, NDAs, term sheets, and option agreements all happen inside the platform. Members report an average 38-day window between room opening and first decision-maker meeting.

From a buyer at the desk

“I open the Pitch Room on Monday mornings the way I used to open the Sundance slate. The submissions are pre-vetted — by the time a project lands in my queue, I know the budget is real and the rights are clean. In eighteen months, four of my acquisitions started in that room.”
